Steve Muskrat
"I got together with a couple of musician buddies to produce the solo album, 'Only The Cool'. One session of recordings was with Steve Webb from the Roomates (UK Doo-wop group) and another session was with Zad Zdravkovic (guitarist of The Jive Romeros). The idea first started when I wanted to record a few numbers that strayed a little from The Muskrats usual style, although the album is a melting pot of influences from 50's and some early 60's artists. There are too many artists to mention that have influenced me but my favourite singers of all time have always been Elvis and Gene Vincent. My main love is Rockabilly but I'm passionate about Doo-wop and I'm a big fan of various guitar styles from Django to Poison Ivy. I would just like to thank Zac and Steve for their amazing talent and help in making the album possible." Steve Nemeth, lead singer and guitarist of The Muskrats (UK Rockabilly Trio)
