Luxurious Panthers
The Luxurious Panthers are a rockabilly trio from Houston, Texas. They play mostly traditional rockabilly and country with a raw, wild, hotrod sound. A Grestch, a bass fiddle, and a bare essentials drums set are the tools of the trade. Most of the songs performed are just about life (i.e. girls, drinkin', fighting, hotrods, love, bad times, and having fun). Lots of the songs are slow but most of them are real screamers; All of them have a rockin', danceable bop to them. At a Luxurious Panthers show you can see everything from punkrockers to rednecks to swingkids - it all depends, but the crowd they usually bring in are just greasers and rockabillys. These guys really get wild and rock out! If people are dancing and getting into the music they'll tear it up!
