Alphabet Bombers' 'Wreckless' is the debut CD from this American Psychobilly band. The Alphabet Bombers play their own interpretation of straight-forward Psychobilly, eschewing the Punk or Thrash style that inspires many of today's Psychobilly bands.

Alphabet Bombers
"As I watched from the depths of hell, The Alphabet Bombers, even during their instrumental evil of yesteryear, quickly became one of my favorite hell-raising rock'n'roll bands. Even the big man downstairs was amazed by how their rock mesmerized their fans, passers-by, and unsuspecting virgins. Thus he sent me on a mission to surface world, a mission in which I would help The Alphabet Bombers steal the souls of every mere mortal that came across with their enchanting noise, and eventually every living soul. I knew very well that the only way I would be able to accomplish my master's diabolical plan would be taking the form of a mortal and joining The Alphabet Bombers as a singer with such charisma, seductive lyricism, and venomous vocals, that no mere mortal could resist selling their soul to my liege. Oh, and just to let you know, your soul belongs to my master already. Muah-ha-ha-ha!!!" From band website
"Finally, a new original sounding US band that keeps the 'billy' in their psychobilly. The Alphabet Bombers' virgin release, Wreckless, is a hit. Hailing from D.C. they have put out one ass-kicking album. The 'throat' of the operation is Vegan Demon, snarling out songs of death, love, destruction and murder. You can tell these guys are on something, whatever it is, pass some to me. Alex on the Gretsch fulfills the rhythm and lead needs for the group. His style takes aspects of western and traditional rockabilly guitarists and fills similar to The Reverend Horton Heat, yet keeping his own sound, beyond the influences. That is significantly unlike other guitarists I have heard. The doghouse bassist, Curt, has a lot of talent which rumbles through on every track. Their cover of 'One cup of coffe' is a great example of the talent all four members have. 'Hollywood' on the skins keeps a very rockabilly feel on the drums, and is an important part in keeping the 'billy' in this group. My favorite tracks are '3 o'clock', 'Shadows on the wall', 'Shotgun, pills, knife' and 'Sock hop murder'. 'Shadows on the wall' is one of the best written psychobilly songs that has come out in the past five years. This album is a must for anyone's psychobilly collection. Fans of early Dememnted Are Go, Three Blue Teardrops or Amazing Royal Crowns will enjoy this album a lot." The Machetti - Rock'n'roll Pugatory #10
