Mal Gray and The Wild Angels
This new CD release by Mal Gray & The Wild Angels contains all previously unissued recordings. It also features 20 minutes of Gene Vincent rehearsing with the band for his forthcoming tour in 1969, when they also receorded a BBC2-TV documentary titled 'The rock'n'roll singer'. The CD booklet includes several rare and previously unseen photos of Mal and Gene.Mal Gray & The Wild Angels were ersponsible for the rock'n'roll revival of the late 1960's. During his long career, Mal has worked with many legends, such as Chuck Berry, Duane Eddy, Bill Haley and Fats Domino. In the early 1970's Mal was invited to join the American band Sha-Na-Na, with whom he toured the USA for a number of years.
Mal Gray is still performing to this present day and in recent times has been invited to play various concerts in Europe and Japan, where he has gained much success in the past.
