Eddie Cochran
An updated expansion of a 1985 Rockstar vinyl album (RSRCD1008). That long-deleted LP contained ten previously unissued Eddie Cochran stereo recordings plus six Cochran classics such as 'Summertime blues', 'C'mon everybody' and 'Teenage Heaven'. They are all on this CD reissue along with 19 additional tracks, including two more stereo recordings and an assortment of rare and previously unissued cuts of songs such as 'Think of me', 'Nervous breakdown' and out-takes of 'Teenage cutie'. The last four stereo tracks feature two of Buddy Holly's band The Crickets, with guitarist Sonny Curtis and drummer Jerry Allison accompanying Eddie on 'Cut across shorty', 'Cherished memories' (two versions) and 'Three steps to Heaven'.
