Blue 'Gene' Bop

This important release features a set of BBC radio shows ('Parade Of The Pops' and 'Saturday Club') recorded during the period 1960-65 that have been digitally re-mastered from the original tapes - plus a rare interview with Gene Vincent recorded soon after he arrived in the UK for the first time during early December 1959.
Gene was accompanied on these programmes by various British bands such as Marty Wilde's original Wildcats, Sounds Incorporated and The Outlaws. Gene's repertoire on these broadcasts include live versions of his best-known songs, plus lesser-known material recently introduced to his live performances.
The CD booklet features many previously unpublished photos and comprehensive notes written by a fan who knew Gene Vincent throughout the 1960's and attended all of his tours during this period.
