The Comets
Several of Bill Haley's original Comets team up with Jacko, who's a Haley 'soundalike' for an album recorded in the UK in 1997 on vintage valve equipment in an attempt to re-create the priginal 'Pythian Temple' sound. Amazingly enough, there are patches when that original Comets sound comes through! There's also a lot of piano in the mix, but this ain't bad. The title track is great!
