The Scam

The Scam started in 1985 for fun and a year later they got a chance to record their first album on Count Orlock (Gambling Fever) which gave them the opportunity to play some of the festivals. After that they had some demo material left which was released on Tombstone Records. It was called 'Infant years'. The Last thing they recorded was this CD on Rockhouse Records 'A million dollar Scam' which was a bit more bluesy. The drummer seems to have vanished but is believed to be still playing in local bands in Holland. Marcel (guitar and vocals) and Arie (the bass player) played a short while with the Penguin and even played the first Satanic stomp with him. Arie the bassplayer retired after that. Marcel later joined 'Beavershot'.
