Rayburn Anthony
Born and raised in Humboldt, Tennessee and discovered by W. S. Holland (drummer with Carl Perkins), Rayburn Anthony used to play with Kenny Parchman, Carl Mann, W. S. Holland and many more. He made three singles on the legendary Sun label from Memphis and worked for Scotty Moore at Music City Recorders and on the road with Carl Perkins, Billy Walker and Bobby Bare. Rayburn is a top class songwriter whose songs have been recorded by Jerry Lee Lewis, Conway and Loretta, Charley Pride, Vern Gosdin and Billy Walker (who had a number one with his 'Sing Me A Love Song To Baby'.). Now he's back with a new album in 50's style, recorded in Rhythm Bomb's own recording studio - Lightning Recording Service (lrs-berlin.com) on vintage equipment and backed by some of Europe's finest 'roots' musicians.
