Since the release of their first album ('Pink & Black' - RAUCD 033), The Wildkatz have become one of the most popular bands on the British Rock'n'roll Scene. They have constantly played up and down the country in clubs, bars, alldayers and weekenders, and the DJs, both in the clubs and on the radio, have made the title track 'Pink and black Cadillac' a big hit. This second album takes up where 'Pink and black' left off, showing how The Wildkatz have developed both in terms of performing and writing their material. It's a much slicker affair - without losing any of the energy or the hard driving Rockabilly beat that made their first album so popular. Influences of classic 50's Rock'n'roll and the Rockabilly Revival sound of the early 1980's remain in abundance, but are now outshone by the distinct sound that they have created, and in particular the personality of singer Trev Tempest - one of the most entertaining frontmen on the Rock'n'roll scene.
