The Lonesome Kings

'....No fru fru, no poo poo. Jackhammer, Gear Grinding, Hip Pumping highway Rock 'n' Roll. Girls, beer, music fundamentals, and attitude. No skirts, no detours - just cigarettes, tattoos, all-night diners, and a yellow interstate line that goes flying by. The Lonesome Kings are A to B drivers side lead-footedness. This is why God created the Genre'.

"Imagine walking through a sandstorm to a brothel, coughing up a wad of dirt, spitting it onto the floor, and grabbing the nearest strumpet for a tender moment - and you'll get the feel of this CD. There is nothing subtle about this crude psychobilly band led by King Sleaze on vocals and Doc Holiday on Guitar. Aside from some misogynistic lyrics about ownership, murder, and objectification, this CD rocks pretty well. There is a western feel to the disc, hyped up with some punk rock speed and harshness. All in all, not a bad release."
Ben Lybarger - Rock'n'roll Purgatory

"The Lonesome Kings are a kick-ass foursome whose sound is raw, dark, dirty, and sleazy. Drawing from influences such as The Clash, The Dwarves, George Jones, Elvis Costello, Muddy Waters, and AC/DC to name a few, they are tough to categorize in any one particular genre of music.
Frontman Greg Lonesome was previously the lead singer for the band Bad Luck Streak (94-96), along with Dead 50's founder and Frontman Chris Moody on drums. Greg went on to form the Lonesome Kings in 1999 with band mates Rev. Repulsive on guitar, Mr. Right Now on Bass, and Johnny Hormone on Drums.
With the Reverend's burning guitar riff's and Lonesome's Rollins-like vocals, these guys deliver an in your face set that is alive and on fire."

"The Lonesome Kings were formed in February of 1999 by Greg Lonesome (vocals), Mr. Right Now (electric bass), Doc Holliday (guitar) and Quickdraw (drums). This lineup gigged frequently and recorded the 'Sunday Morning Hymns' CD and the 'Who's Your Daddy?' EP before Quickdraw and Doc Holliday left the band in October and November of 2000, respectively. After a brief hiatus, the Kings reformed in January of 2001 with Reverend Repulsive on guitar and 'Handsome' Johnny Hormone on drums."
