The Flames 93

The Flames 93 refers to 1993, the year the band was founded. It documents the original sound from the wild beginnings of The Flames. The songs have been recorded with the original cast during a hot summer day in 1997 and reflecting the energy of the young and dynamic Flames. Magnificently remastered the songs now have won in power and pressure, thereby the impression they would only be some kind of 'demo of tapes' disappears. "Finally, the songs have got their last grinding", said Carl Lee. "Now the songs sound in such a way, as we have always wanted them." Responsible for the brilliant cover artwork is the bandleader from the psycho shockers 'Thee Flanders' (Potsdam / Germany), Norman Winter. Therefore the CD becomes a unique piece of art.
