Texabilly Rockets
The Texabilly Rockets, founded in 1993, play original themes, 50's classics as well as themes of current bands. Their style is authentic Rockabilly with a touch of classic country. In 1997 they started performing outside of Portugal taking part in different events, like Hemsby and Calella Rock'n'Roll Festivals. In April/May of 1998 they made their first tour throughout Spain and France. During that same summer they 'flooded' the EXPO ’98 with numerous performances. In 1999, they received an invitation to for a tour on a European level which crossed Spain, France, Great Britain and Germany during May and June 2000. So far, they've made two albums and participated on a compilation, and just having returned from their recent tour of Germany they are currently getting ready to record their third album in October 2001 in Germany. While in Germany they will also be playing a string of shows across the country.
