"Rough and Roll is a good description for the kind of rock and roll Rough N Tumble play. This German band sounds more like it is influenced by Steppenwolf or George Thorougood than anyone from the 50s. Heavy blues-styled rock with lots of harmonica throughout most every song that could appeal to fans of the Paladins circa 2002. Their interpretations of classics like 'Folsom Prison Blues' and 'Train Kept A Rollin' are unique and you can't really tell what the song is until you recognize the lyrics. This band is a departure for Part Records who usually turn out authentic rockabilly or teddy boy rock and roll.
