John Whiteleather, originally from Pittsburgh Pa, spent most of the eighties in Los Angeles playing in various rock bands. His singing, songwriting ability combined with his energetic live performances finally led him and the band to Europe to perform at festivals and other rock venues in 1991. Since then John has based the band out of Sweden while they continue to tour Europe and the US as well. In 1996 John Whiteleather was asked to do the opening video and perform live on MTV Sports Rock'n Jock B Ball Jam which was taped in Los Angeles. The show was a success and aired world wide throughout '96 & '97. John Whiteleather's music reaches into the heart of the working class. "My job is to make people forget their jobs and worries come Friday and Saturday night. Their smiles tell me I've done my job", says John.
