Restless

Restless' first studio album plus three tracks from their original demo. Essential stuff! Scorching guitar, slappin' bass, manic drumming, great songs. The best selling Restless album on Nervous. It's obvious why....

Why don't you just rock is absolutely fantastic.. I bought it way back when - on vinyl. Restless were always fantastic, better than the Guana Batz. I was one of the chicks from the 80's in the clubs dancing and screaming. Pussyadore, UK.

WHY DON'T YOU...JUST ROCK is hard drivin' and tight as can be. Mark Harman has got a terrific voice (on par with Brian Setzer). If the Polecats thought they should have been as popular as the Stray Cats, then Restless certainly deserved to be. Fifteen solid tracks ... lots of original tunes here. Dave and Andrew

That first Restless album is indescribably good. D. B. UK

"This is the first record re-released on CD by England's Restless who are considered one of the best British rockabilly bands. Their sound is very similar to the Polecats, also from the same era. This trio play fast modern rockabilly with some great slapbass on this disc, especially on the title track. All of the songs are pure rockabilly tunes and you won't find the more poppy songs they produced later on this release. Good, loud, fast and hard rockabilly that will really go over well to those who like bands such as the Polecats and the Blue Cats. The band has many releases since this record but this is a good place to start with Restless so be prepared to just rock! As of 2002, the band has since reformed and will be playing shows again to perhaps promote some future recordings!" The Psycho Avenger 2002

".... the most exciting new Rockabilly I've heard in a while. The Trio is, I believe, from England and they offer a dozen original Rockabilly recordings here that are right out of 1958 without the pose common to so many of today's new bands. The musicianship is spectacular, especially guitarist Mark Harman, a speed demon with ideas pouring out of his hands a mile a second. Harman, or maybe his brother bassist Paul also wrote most of the LP. Production, songs, playing....everything is right. Someone get these boys a U.S. recording contract fast!" Goldmine June 1983
