Number Nine are no strangers to the recording studios either, with top-selling albums on Rockout Records as well as good ol' Vinyl Japan. As the titles of this album suggest, the band's versatility is well demonstrated here. 'Blue Grooves', which features the much famed Big Town Playboys, is a collection of real swingin' grooves, including classics such as James Brown's 'I Go Crazy' and 'I'm Mad At You'. This album is, of course, recorded with a live studio sound.
