"Yet another set of polished performances from the popular Good Rockin' Tonight. Their calendar is full right throughout the first part of this year until the end of April, which comes as no surprise for this is one heck of a professional unit. Vocals are handled, in the main, by Mark Keeley with others from lead guitarist John O'Malley and 'Alright, OK, you win' taken by Spencer Lingwood.
Opener is Jimmy Reed's 'Big boss man' which owes more to the Elvis version. They close with the Presley classic from 'Loving you', always a personal favourite of mine. There are many original compositions prevalent with John O'Malley contributing three with 'Loverboy's back in town' - a beat balled of the highest order, 'Let's jump tonight' - a superb jump jiver with some cool guitar licks and 'That ain't enough' - a bit of a swinger. Mark Keeley contributes five, with 'Back in my arms' and 'Can't take it any more having a definite Elvis inspiration. I guess I'm just a sucker for teen ballads, but 'Could we', 'Don't wanna lose you' and 'I'm falling in love tonight' make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. Why did we ever have to leave the 50's?
Further covers incude Moon Mullican's 'Honolula Rock-a roll-a', The Cues' 'Why' and The Blasters/Shakin' Stevens' 'Marie Marie'. Highly recommended but I'm sure their fans need little encouragement!" Steve Aynsley - NDT 2002Wildcat Pete says....

"Mark Keeley and his fabulous band have yet another brilliant gem. Very slick and professional. This is why Mark is the best there is on the scene. A great mixture of tunes to suit all tastes. A very talented band indeed." Wildcat Pete 2002
