"In the beginning was the word, and the word was BEER!!! Craig, Paul and his wife went out for a quiet beer one night at their local hot-rod club meeting. As it happens the club was organising a charity event in aid of breast cancer and had been having problems with organising a band, so we volunteered. Both of us had played with other bands over the years, but we'd only ever played together once, and that was an impromptu jam at Paul's wedding. If that wasn't enough of a challenge,we still needed a Drummer! We arranged for a drummer from another band to help out. However, call it fate or whatever, but on the day of our first rehearsal together an old friend turned up out of the blue. And it turned out he was a drummer. So Mike had a bash on the skins and our jaws hit the ground. After just a few songs it felt like we'd been playing together for years. Unfortunately,due to other commitments, Mike left the band so we had to find a suitable replacement in the shape of Tony, who also plays with the Muskrats."
