"The Persuaders stormed through two brilliant sets. What a great band they are! I had a chat with Andy and Gary who were really impressed with our venue and a couple of nice guys to boot..." Melksham Rock'n'roll
"This is The Persuaders at their best, thirteen storming tracks recorded at Sweet Georgia Brown studios in London. This album has it all, kicking off with the great jive track, 'Modern Romance', this track will be the next big thing on the dance floor. Next up is 'Rose Of Love', written by lead guitarist Andy Wren, again a nice little jiver. The pace changes slightly on track 3 with a raunchy rocker, 'Somewhere In The USA', written by the beat man, Gary Griffin. 'Heart Like A Rock' is a great jiver, and 'Awful Pain Of Love' is a stroller. It has to be said that this album is one of the best on release at the moment." Billy B Bad - Southern Rock - March 2003
