Mario Bradley
Infectious jumpin' jive, boogie, rhythm & blues and raw rockabilly sung in the style of Clarence 'Frogman' Henry and played in the style of Hardrock Gunter by ex-Bootlegger Mario Bradley.
"Born in Co. Galway, Irish Republic, Mario Bradley had the feel for his music at a very early age, when his dad gave him his first rock and roll LP. By the age of 17, he was playing the double bass and this led him to play with various bands including The Marvels, The Blue Ridge Mountain Boys and The Bootleggers. Mario Bradley's earlier influences include Joe Clay, Amos Milburn, Big Joe Turner, Gene Vincent, Louis Jordan and Carl Perkins. Later on, Mario Bradley started to concentrate on the guitar and other instruments including piano, drums and percussion, although his dream was always to build his own recording studio. In 1998, Mario Bradley finally realised his aspirations and started recording these exciting tracks, amongst others. The sound is an exciting blend of rockabilly, black rock and roll, blues and jump jive, which make for some great listening."

"12 amazing tracks from a new band to me but with an amazing rockin' sound. I thought I'd heard it all, then along comes this CD. Influenced by Pat Cupp, Joe Turner, Amos Milburn and Louis Jordan which shows when you listen to this hot cake. Already dance floor fillers at the Winning Post, Tennessee Club plus all the other clubs I play at...." Wildcat Pete - Southern Rock Sep. 2001
"The new album that everyone is talking about is Mario Bradley entitled 'Shake it don't break it' ..... The track 'Grandfather's clock' is proving to be a great bopper on the dancefloor and the great jiver 'She's got me hypnotised' is a must for any serious DJ. I think we are going to see a lot more of this talented man....." Billy B Bad 2002
