The Razorbacks

"The Razorbacks are an East Coast trio that has a very strong Stray Cats influence to their sound. Now this is not a bad thing since the Stray Cats have written some great modern rockabilly classics and, despite or because of their commercial popularity, are a good band to model one's sound after. The Razorbacks play hard-edged modern rockabilly that is very catchy and very upbeat. You can't help but think of the Stray Cats at their fastest and most furious when you hear the Razorbacks and the songs are definitely contagious from the first song to the last. Great sound production with a good mix on all instruments that includes solid guitar playing and a really thumping slap bass driving the beat. If you like the Stray Cats or upbeat modern styled rockabilly, then the Razorbacks will satisfy your music needs. This is a really good record that doesn't need to grow on you as it will instantly grab your attention." The Rockabilly Review
