The Rockats

Recorded during the early Nineties. Really good, slightly commercialised, American Neo-Rockabilly from one of the seminal US bands. These guys should have been HUGE! They were (and still are) an 'Anglo-American' outfit. One of the earlier members was Levi Dexter. The 'word' was that a young Brian Setzer used to follow them and carry Smutty's stuff for him... I had some good times in Japan with Barry, and I'm STILL waiting for Dibbs to come and paint my door!

"Drivin' guitars and smooth vocals showcase this release. R&R/Rockabilly rythyms in all eleven tracks. Callouts: the tough Pink And Black, the classic country rock of The Good, The Bad The Rockin', and the smokey, finger snapping Some Cat's Got It." Dave and Andrew

The song 'Say you're mine' was in the film, 'The General's Daughter', starring John Travolta.
