The Devil's Jukebox
The booklet boasts '20 hot lashes of forbidden taboo' and that's just what you get with this well chosen selection of tracks from the Bone Tone Corporation. The Lost Souls open with 'Schoolhood daze' which is reminiscent in style of early Frenzy material. Dawg House - a band normally associated with a more Rock'n'roll style - chip in a couple of good tracks, the best being 'Boneshaker'. Onto The Phantom Cowboys - a band that have until now been criminally ignored by record labels - get an airing with three tracks including the excellent 'The fear is real' which finds the singer sounding not unlike Dave Vanian. Best song of the compilation (by a mile) has to be 'Last man in space' by The Hangmen in which Loz screams and rants his way through the track. A highly recommended compilation. Deathrow Database #28
