Evcer since the early days of the rock'n'roll revival way back at the end of sixties, bands have covered the Songs of Johnny and Dorsey Burnette, and this continues right through to the present day. However, the fact that the two brothers wrote good rockin' songs was known way back in the fifties, when people like Ricky Nelson soon picked up their output. This CD goes to demonstrate that they really were prolific songwriters, and stands as a credit to their abilities.
