Johnny (Red) And The Jailbirds have been around for a while - since 1973 in fact! The first recording here dates from 1979 and was issued as a 45 on the 'Duke' label (the duke in question being the Duke of Wellington). The second song here is a 'linedance' special (or you can think of it as a fast 'stroller') and was written by Ronnie Harwood, who wrote several of Shakin' Stevens' big hits.
